Georgetown Community Hospital’s Women’s Services Department is devoted exclusively to women, bringing you comprehensive care from our experienced staff and physicians. Located in Georgetown, Kentucky, our services are geared toward assisting women through the major OB/GYN milestones of life, from planning a pregnancy to managing the transition of menopause.

Expecting a bundle of joy?
Every year, Georgetown Community Hospital welcomes babies into the world as our community’s primary provider of obstetrics and gynecology services. We want our families to experience an environment that is warm, comforting and especially welcoming to their newest family members.

UK HealthCare - Georgetown is the only OB/GYN practice delivering babies at Georgetown Community Hospital.

The hospital offers six labor and delivery rooms and offers the option to have baby stay in the room with mom or to stay at any time in the nursery.

Breastfeeding classes and childbirth education classes also are available for free to anyone who is delivering at the hospital. Please call 502-868-1295 to sign up.

Other services available for women include gynecological surgeries and digital mammography (which if ordered, may be scheduled through the Diagnostic Imaging Department). You can be confident our staff will spend the time necessary to answer all your questions and provide you with educational materials related to your specific health care needs.
