Dr. Mahmoud Abualayem, Cardiologist, joins Central Kentucky Heart Care, Georgetown and Paris, KY

(Georgetown, KY, Paris, KY – January 10, 2024) – Central Kentucky Heart Care in Paris, KY and Georgetown, KY is pleased to welcome Mahmoud Abualayem, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Abualayem will join Central Kentucky Heart Care, serving both communities with his expertise in the field of cardiology.

Dr. Abualayem specializes in ultrasounds, stress tests, monitoring, echoes, cardiac CT scans, and diagnostic heart catheterizations. He is Board-certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac Computed Tomography, and Internal Medicine. He is also a registered physician in Vascular Interpretation.

Dr. Abualayem earned his medical degree from Al-Arab Medical University in Libya. He completed residency at Tripoli Medical Center in Tripoli, Libya and an Internal Medicine residency at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ and completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at New York Medical College in Newark, New Jersey.
