Dr. Rebecca McKendrick joins UK Women’s Health – Georgetown and Georgetown Community Hospital

Rebecca McKendrick, M.D., has recently joined UK Women’s Health - Georgetown and Georgetown Community Hospital as an obstetrician and gynecologist. Dr. McKendrick will provide services for women including prenatal and newborn care, ultrasounds, pap tests, newborn deliveries and family planning in Georgetown, delivering babies exclusively at Georgetown Community Hospital.

Dr. McKendrick recently completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Kentucky. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Dr. McKendrick is an active member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She has also been involved in a variety of community service initiatives, serving as the campus director of Women in Medicine and Science in Chattanooga, TN, creating and organizing volunteer opportunities for local students including peer mentoring and assisting at local health fairs for minority populations.

She will be accepting new patients in her office at UK Healthcare - Georgetown OBGYN now located at 1150 Lexington Road, Georgetown, KY 40324.
