Dr. Richard L. Risher, Family Medicine Physician, joins Georgetown Family Physicians

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (August 30, 2023) – Georgetown Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Richard Risher, MD, to the medical staff. He will be joining Georgetown Family Physicians expanding primary care services in the community.

Dr. Risher specializes in physicals, well visits, immunizations, acute illnesses, and medical management. He has over 20 years of experience as a primary care provider.

Richard Risher, MD earned his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina and completed his residency in Family Practice from Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Dr. Risher is now accepting patients at his temporary office located in the Georgetown Family Physicians Express Care Clinic, 1502 Oxford Dr., Suite 100, Georgetown, KY 40324. He will be joining Georgetown Family Physicians team in the new Medical Office Building located at 1175 Lexington Rd. in Parkview Plaza once construction is complete.
