Georgetown Community Hospital Welcomes Sports Medicine Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Jorge Benito

(Georgetown, KY. – August 16, 2024) – Georgetown Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Jorge Benito, DO, Orthopaedic Surgeon to the medical staff and central Kentucky communities. Dr. Benito will join Kentucky Orthopaedic & Spine located at 1138 Lexington Rd., Ste. 110, Georgetown, KY 40324.

Dr. Benito is a board-eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon and fellowship-trained expert in sports medicine. In addition, he specializes in the management of general orthopaedic injuries, total joint replacement surgery, arthritis, and the diagnosis and treatment of bone and joint issues.

Dr. Benito received his undergraduate degree in biology as well as his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he graduated with honors. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Larkin Hospital in Miami, and further honed his skills at Beacon Orthopaedics in Cincinnati, where he completed a fellowship in sports medicine.
